Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp

The Spring Musical Theater Intensive is a high-impact, 10-week  training program designed to cultivate triple-threat performers. Participants will immerse themselves in the rigorous demands of musical theater, culminating in a fully staged production that showcases their integrated development in music, dance, and acting.

This intensive is built on the foundation of hands-on experience, expert guidance, and powerful ensemble work, providing students with the skills, discipline, and confidence necessary to excel on stage.

More about Kurt: Kurt Phelan is an Australian-born actor, choreographer, and writer celebrated for his multifacetedcontributions to the performing arts. A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), hehas lit up stages in acclaimed productions such as Dirty Dancing, Singin’ in the Rain, Priscilla:Queen of the Desert, and Rent. Beyond acting, Phelan is a skilled playwright and choreographerwhose work has featured on major stages worldwide. As an educator, he is highly sought after for hisperformance coaching and dynamic workshops, which empower artists to create original content andembrace their individuality to achieve authentic, impactful performance.
